The St. Philip's Infant - Toddler Care Program is for all toddlers from 6 weeks through 24 months old. The Infant - Toddler Care is available from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. We have a 1:4 staff to child ratio of mature care givers to ensure contented kids.

Our care givers consider caring for these very young children a pleasure and special responsibility. They follow parent's specialized instruction in the day-to-day care of each child. We consider frequent communication with parents a priority in this room which includes a detailed daily report including

• food
• feedings
• nap times
• diaper changes
• medication with dosage
• special activities
• reminders.

The daily schedule in the classroom is a flexible one determined by each child's developmental stage. Here is a sample schedule of activities:

7:00	-	8:00	Arrival and Playtime
8:00	-	9:00	Breakfast, hand washing, selected toys
9:00	-	11:00	Morning Activities Art Music Large Motor Skills Stories Outside Time
11:00	-	12:00	Clean-up and Lunch
12:00	-	4:00	Afternoon Activities Naps Manipulatives (blocks, puzzles, sorting) Sensory Play (textures, ice cubes, Jell-O Outside time and group activities Bible Time
4:00	-	6:00	Clean up, free play, and good-byes

• Diaper Changes are made every 1 1/2 - 2 hours and as needed.
• Bottle / jar feedings and naps are done as each child's schedule directs.

This program is designed to create a happy room which prepares the little ones for a gentle transition into the world of twos.
