Dear Parents,
Here’s to hoping for spring! Our annual spring fundraiser, Telefunds Salty & Sweet, is March 6-20, 2018. Due to an early Easter, Telefunds unfortunately cannot guarantee a delivery before the holiday. This year’s sales are important because we have purchased new playground awnings in the amount of $4,710 so we will use our profits towards that purchase. We will offer the top three sellers the tuition credits as a thank-you for your efforts.
St. Philip’s UCC is hosting their annual Trivia Nights on March 9 & 10. In addition, we have decided to host a Parents’ Night Out on those nights. Complimentary soda, water, and coffee are provided but you may bring your own food and drinks. Please contact Kathy at 314-843-4223 if you are interested in a fun night out! The Easter Egg Hunt is also March 31st at 10:00 a.m. Thank you for your support of our St. Philip’s community as a whole.
The transition from paper to KidsReports has been pretty seamless. There have been a few errors but Jacqueline has been very proactive. We also had new WiFi boosters to help with the internet connectivity and speed. If there are any issues, please let me know.

2018-19 Preschool registration forms are due March 15, 2018. If you have not paid, your account will automatically be charged under the assumption your child will be enrolled in our PS program.

St. Philip’s UCC Trivia Night is on March 9 and 10, 2018.
St. Philip’s ECC Parents’ Night Out is on March 9 and 10, 2018, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Preschool Spring Break this year runs from March 19 to 23, 2018.
Fundraiser orders are due by March 20, 2018.

Welcome to March, that means we are getting closer to SPRING!! Layla will be flying over to the Elephants at the end of the month. We will miss her — she is such a sweetie. We want to welcome Christian — can’t wait to meet him. Nora, Georgia & Mason love sitting on the mats together & playing with all the toys. Jake, James & Colin love it when they get to play in the saucers. Izzy is our youngest and loves the bouncy seat and the floor gym. Have a fun St. Patty’s Day!!

Happy Spring Hippo Families! We are so excited for the warmer weather, so that we can start going on walks! Two big birthdays this month — Grace & Reece are both turning ONE! They are both pulling up on everything, and will be walking soon. We are excited to welcome Morgan. March is going to be a fun-filled month of learning and activities. We hope everyone has a great month!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We are so excited to start our craft with our new friends. Layla we be coming from the Butterflies. We will also be welcoming Ms. Kelly’s baby Luke to our room — can’t wait to meet him. Morgan will be joining the Hippo room — we will miss her but she will enjoy playing with some of her old friends and meeting some new friends. Oliver is standing without assistance and seems like he wants to take off any day!! Elsie is now crawling all over the place. Gloria is full of smiles & loves the jumper. Gabe is up on his knees and ready to crawl. Leo & Ella have found their voices & started scooting. Hope everyone has a great month. March already?? 2018 is off & running. St. Patrick’s Day is coming and we can’t wait to see what is at the end of the rainbow. We will be doing some fun experiments and some cute art projects. Stop by and see all of our projects on display outside our classroom. Cold weather is still here, so please make sure you have appropriate extra clothes, coat, hat & mittens. Thank you for bringing in all the wonderful snacks for the Valentine’s Day Party. The Kiddos had lots of fun. We will be working on the colors Red, Grey, Green & Pink. We will practice the shapes Circle, Triangle, Oval & Diamond. Themes for this month are Dr. Seuss, Transportation, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter & Spring. Spring is here & we are so happy for the warmer weather! This month we would like to wish Murphy a Happy Birthday! We will be saying Goodbye to Ben as he hops up to the Frog room. This month we will be learning about plants & bugs. Everyone is doing a great job with their shapes & colors & we are still working hard on our letters & numbers. We love watching the children grow & learn new things!

Hello Frog Parents! This month we will be welcoming Ben Y. from the Giraffe room, we are always excited to have a new friend join us. We will be wishing our friend Emory good luck as she swims up to the Fish room this month. Our weekly themes in March are Dr. Seuss (E, 3, Gray, Square), St. Patrick’s Day (F, 4, Brown, Diamond), Pirates (G,5, Pink, Triangle) & Easter (H,6, Purple, Oval) As always, if you have any questions, feel free to call or email us any time. We’re very egg-cited about the month of March! We hope to see everyone at our Easter Egg Hunt on the 31st! This month we will be working on the letters T & U. Our themes will be Dinosaurs, St. Patrick’s Day, Spring and Easter! We’ll be practicing writing our letters & working on tracing. We’re sad to say goodbye to Julie as she moves to the Monkey room. We want to give a warm welcome to Emory who is moving up from the Frog room. We also have a couple of friends with birthdays this month! Happy Birthday to Ellery & Ben P. who will both be turning 3! We hope everyone has a fun St. Patrick’s Day and a wonderful Easter!

We have some exciting things planned for this month especially with the change of the seasons. We will be working on letters T & U. We will also be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a full week of activities & crafts. We will be welcoming Spring by spending a week talking about flowers, caterpillars, butterflies, kites & Spring weather! Parents: we will be offering Parents’ Night out for the St. Philip’s UCC Trivia Night. Also this month, St. Philip’s will be offering an Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th, so bring your kids up for some Easter fun. Happy Birthday to Parker, Mila, Armando, Rachel & Greta.
