Preschool 4s
How can it possibly be May already?! Where has this year gone? We are all so proud of all that our preschoolers have accomplished this year, and I am sure that they are all going to have an amazing time in kindergarten next year! This month, we have lots of exciting events going on including Mother’s Day, the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon, and of course, our preschool closing ceremony on the 23rd! We can wait to show off all that we have learned!
Literacy
As of the end of last month, we have officially made it through our whole alphabet! All of our letter posters are hanging up above our windows; feel free to come in and take a look! We will be reading some books about going to kindergarten, such as Kindergarten Rocks and The Kindergarten Counting Book.
Math
Well, we have officially made it to the 100th day of school this month! The kids are all so excited; they have been looking forward to this moment all year! We will have a celebration on the actual 100th day which should be on May 4th!
Fine Motor
During May, we will get to use our fine motor skills by using magnets, sorting teddy bear weights into scales, and getting in lots of cutting practice before the school year is over!
Art
Mother’s Day is coming up, Moms, so be on the lookout for the gift and card we will be making for you this month! We will also be working on making a memory book for each of you to take home at the end of the year to look back on!
