Director’s Notes

April 2018

Dear Parents,

May is around the corner which means some of your children will be moving on to kindergarten!  I know you’re asking yourself where the time has gone! We wish them all luck next year. If your child is attending Dressel or Sappington, we have Before/After school care for children ages 5-12.

April is a busy month.  The kids get ready for the end of the year and so do our teachers. On April 15th, St. Philip’s UCC will host a worship service to kick off Week of the Young Child. We welcome all of our families to the service at 10:00 am. Please check your classroom calendars for the other special events that week. We will also be hosting a Parent Appreciation breakfast on April 19, 2018.

Summer camp forms will be due April 30, 2018.  Please extend the invite to any family and friends up to the age of 12. If your child’s fee is not paid by then, he or she will not get a camp shirt. This year Ms. Jacqueline is planning a special field trip for only the Tigers, which includes the soon-to-be kindergartners!

Thank you again for your fundraising support. With 24 participants, they sold $3423, which gave St. Philip’s ECC a profit of $1369.20. Congratulations to our top three sellers: Tobnicks, Hornungs, and Collins. We were able to put the money toward the purchase of our new playground awnings.
