Blessing of the Backpacks

Kids of all ages will soon be heading back to school and it’s time for a special blessing.

We are inviting all children to bring their school backpacks with them for a special back to school blessing.

Pastor Mike will call all the children forward (with their backpacks) for this special blessing. He will bless the children as they begin a new school year as well as their backpacks which carry the tools they need to learn.

If you would like your backpack blessed, but cannot make it to church that Sunday, please send a photo to the church office at [email protected]. We are inviting our Early Childhood Center children to come join us for this special back to school blessing too.
