From the Pastor's Desk

Rev. Mike KrewsonFor me, when children come to church on Sunday and Wednesday, and special events — it is so much fun! Watching them and imagining the world through their eyes inspires me to see anew. I love hearing what they have to say, watching them interact with each other and older members, too.

But there are challenges that come with this blessing. When a congregation tries to serve multiple generations, what feels worshipful and mission faithful differs more widely from person to person. We may all sit through attempts to inspire that satisfy and attempts that only partially feel good.

Yet seeing the world through the eyes of others is one challenge Jesus asks us to embrace in accomplishing His grace. Please be patient with each other and find ways to connect to God’s comfort and challenge even during moments designed to please people of another generation.

Your efforts will be rewarded by gifts not yet invented.
