Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
We have an exciting month planned for Preschool 4s. We are going to visit Santa and have a very fun Christmas Party planned on the 20th. Look for more details to come.

What are We Learning
Literacy
We will be reviewing the letters K and L with the letter sounds, and thinking of words that start with each letter. We will continue with last name recognition and play “Where Are the Kings?” and “Pass the Letter Bag.”
Math
The children will be counting kites and candy canes. We will also play a Reindeer dice game and Silver Bell number memory.
Science
The children will be doing a Jingle Bell Tower Challenge and playing with lemon-scented play dough. We will also experiment with a Lava Lamp and a Peppermint Color Spread.
Physical
For Fine Motor, we will be using a tweezer to move lizards, cut Christmas wrapping paper, and using candy canes for a writing tray. For Gross Motor, the children be going on a Candy Cane Hunt and Dancing with Jingle Bells.

Important Information
Please remember to bring your child’s folder to school EVERY Preschool day.
Lending Library is EVERY Monday. Please bring your child’s book back on Mondays so your child can choose another book.
No Preschool on Friday, December 13th, since we have the Santa’s House Field Trip on the 12th.
