Festival of Sharing

We plan to again participate in Festival of Sharing, and Outreach Ministry requests contributions of:

• Adult toothbrushes (sealed individually or in two packs)
• Children’s toothbrushes (sealed individually, or in 2, 3 or 4 packs)
  We ESPECIALLY need these because each kit asks for 4 children’s toothbrushes
• Regular size toothpaste, not travel size (any kind)
• Dental floss

Items will be collected on September 22 and 29, and October 6 and 13, and will be distributed to needy individuals at Missouri schools and social agencies. See the basket in the Gathering Space.

Angel Team

We, at St. Philips, care about each other and have organized an Angel Team to help others in our congregation when they are in need of a little extra care.

We will help you by taking you to the doctor, going to visit at the hospital, pick up your medication, sit with someone in your home who is ill, whatever your needs may be. We offer you prayer and encouragement.

This group is composed of you, the congregation. We have forms you can fill out stating what area you would like to be of help in. These forms will be passed out at church on a Sunday morning in the near future.

There are also health care forms which we will pass out. These forms are on file here in case you have an emergency and we need to contact someone.
