During March, we will be introducing the letters S, T, U, and V. We will also talk about St. Patrick’s Day, Leprechauns, and Pots of Gold.

Literacy

The children will continue with Zoophonics to learn the letters S, T, U, and V with Sammy the Snake, Timothy the Tiger, Umber the Umbrella Bird, and Vincent the Vampire Bat. We will also review all the letters with a Rainbow letter match and continue to practice our names.

Math

We will be making patterns with snakes along with counting them. We will also be sorting vegetables and fruits, and playing Spin to 20. We will continue to recognize numbers to 10.

Physical

For Fine Motor, the children will be lacing straws, drawing under the table, and picking letter V flowers from a vase.

For Gross Motor, we will play Secret Sock, Tic Tac Toss, and go through an Over Under Obstacle Course.

Science

The children will be experimenting with different objects to see if they sink or float, playing with Tiger playdough, and in a Unicorn Sensory Bin. We will also find letters in bubbles in the sensory table.

Reminders

• Spring Break will the week of the 16th. We will NOT have Preschool this week.
• Please make sure you are bringing your child’s folder on EVERY Preschool Day. This is our way to send home all work that your child does in class.
