Happy Valentine’s Day!
February is going to be a busy month with Dr. Lang visiting, our Valentine’s Party, and President’s Day!

What are We Learning
Literacy
We will be reviewing the letters P, Q, and R this month with Letter P Riddles, Popsicle Zoophonics, and Rocky Pairs. We will also be building letters for Valentine’s Day and making a Class Oath for President’s Day.
Math
The children will be brushing numbers away on teeth, counting coins and sorting money, and matching hats for The Cat In The Hat.
Science
We will be learning about Dental Health when Dr. Lang comes to visit by brushing model mouths and talking about eating healthy. We will also be playing with Penguin Slime and The Cat In The Hat Playdough.
Physical
For Fine Motor, we will be painting with pink and purple at the easel, making thumbprint hearts, and writing with Quail feathers. For Gross Motor, the children will be playing Musical Hearts, Right & Left, and Ready Action.

- February 17 – No Preschool (President’s Day)
Important Information
Dr. Lang visits on February 5th to talk to the children about Dental Health and how to take care of our teeth.
Valentine’s Day Party is on Friday, February 14th. Don’t forget to bring your child’s decorated Valentine Box for the Valentine Exchange.
Lending Library is now on Friday. Please bring your child’s book back on Fridays.
