What are We Learning
Literacy
We will learn about the letters L, M, N, and O with Zoophonics. We will meet Lizzy the Lizard, Missie the Mouse, Nigel the Night Owl, and Olive the Octopus. We will continue to review all the letters we have learned this year as well.
Math
The children will be putting ladybugs in order by number, count mermaids, and lace numbered octopus legs with beads.
Physical
For fine motor, the children with lace the letter L, trace shapes, and make an octopus with playdough. For gross motor, we will do One Minute Movements, walk the number line, and go through an obstacle course.
Science
We will have a week learning about our Five Senses. The children will taste lemons, paint with Jell-O water, mix colors on the light table and make sound tubes and textured hands.
Social/Emotional
We will be doing a science experiment with lava and asking out “Yes/No” weekly questions.

Reminders
Please remember folders need to be brought to school EVERY Preschool day.
Lending Library books will be checked out on February 6th (returned on February 13th) and February 20th (returned on February 27th).
Valentine Party will be on February 10th. I will send out more information when the time gets closer.
