What are We Learning
Literacy
We will review the letter K and do a letter review. We will find the letter K and put them in our Kangaroo pouch. The children will put letters in order with Christmas lights and write a letter to Santa.
Math
The children will match kites to numbers, count with Santa’s Roll and Count, and make fingerprint patterns to make a candy cane.
Physical
For fine motor, we will unlock locks with keys, make key rubbings, and write with candy canes. For gross motor, the children will do a Kangaroo hop, Reindeer Boot Camp, and toss jingle bells.
Science
We will make key impressions in playdough and play with Christmas tree slime. We will also experiment with a Peppermint.
Social/Emotional
The children will play “Where Are the Kings” while trying to find the letter K in a deck of cards. We will also go on a Candy Cane hunt and play memory with “silver bells.”

Monday: Language, Tuesday: Science, Wednesday: Life Skills, Thursday: Geography
