Our December selection is Banyan Moon by Thao Thai, described as a “sweeping tale of three generations of Vietnamese women reeling from the death of their matriarch and revealing the family’s burdens, secrets, and unlikely love stories.” The date for discussion has not yet been set and will be in late December or early January.
Books are checked out in kit form from the St. Louis County Library and are available through Barbara Barnes. Consider joining us to read this book. We share a potluck lunch after church and always have a good time. Everyone is welcome, even if you have not read the book!
We have learned that we are so good at discussing that we can discuss a book even if we have not read it!
