Blessing of the Animals
World Communion Sunday

On Sunday, October 6, 2024, for our regular 9:30 a.m. worship, we will gather outside on the church grounds for an outdoor worship experience!

All are invited to bring an animal to be blessed during our worship experience (leashed/restrained; please be prepared to clean up after your animal). Be as creative as you’d like as you think about an animal to bring (a pet, a picture of a pet or animal—past or present, a stuffed animal, etc.).

We’ll celebrate God’s magnificent creation and the animals that share it with us as we worship together outdoors! If possible, please also bring your own chairs.

This is also World Communion Sunday, which we will celebrate with human communion elements and treats for pets too!
