What are We Learning

Literacy

We will review the letters U, V, and W this month. We will be reading “Uni The Unicorn,” “Stelluna,” “Where The Wild Things Are.” We will also play I Have Who Has with letters.

Math

The children will count Lucky Charm marshmallows and gold coins, count unicorns, and match bows to kites.

Physical

For fine motor, we will paint a rainbow unicorn, watermelon writing tray, and Wild Things puzzles. For gross motor, the children will go on a green scavenger hunt, and do an “Under Over Obstacle” course. We will also move like bugs.

Science

We will write letters in sand, experiment with Magic Leprechaun Rocks, and a unicorn sensory hunt. We will also catch water bubble letters, and talk about Spring.

Social/Emotional

The children will answer if they have ever seen a Leprechaun, experiment with Leprechaun rocks, talk about what we take on vacation, and put bird egg numbers in order by number (1-20).

Monday: Language, Tuesday: Science, Wednesday: Life Skills, Thursday: Geography

• March 22-25 – Preschool Spring Break (No Preschool)

Reminders

Library book check-out dates: March 8th (due on March 15th) and March 29th (due on April 5th)

Please make sure your child has their folder EVERY Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
