September 2017

Welcome back to St. Philip’s ECC for our 2017-18 preschool year!

We are very excited about this upcoming school year. Ms. Kaitlin, Ms. Julie, and Ms. Kelly are geared up and ready to tackle another preschool year. Zoophonics was a great addition last year to the program, and we have added more to the curriculum again this year. New equipment has been ordered, and the classrooms will be rearranged for the preschool year. Our class from last year passed their kindergarten screening with flying colors so we are very pleased with our preschool curriculum and teachers!

September is a busy month at the center. On your calendars, you will find important dates such as: Fall Festival, Enrichment Classes, and Lending Library.

Please join us for our Fall Festival on September 24, 2017. This is our third annual festival, and we have added things this year. Like last year, there will be food, games, and prizes. In addition, Ms. Jacqueline has reserved a petting zoo with pony rides as well as live music! To make things easier for parents, we will be selling bracelets in advance for $20.00 which will include unlimited games, access to the petting zoo, and one pony ride per child. Available food will include snow cones, nachos, popcorn, Gus’s pretzels, and a caramel apple bar. Please stop by and join the fun!

If you are an outside preschool family, monthly tuition is due by the 20th of each month; Preschool 3s is $165 per month and Preschool 4s is $200 per month. Preschool tuition and enrichment classes are included in daycare costs if you are a center family. If preschool only families are interested in enrichment classes or lunch, please let us know.

My hours during the school year typically are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our Operations Manager, Courtney Eaves, works 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Ms.Jacqueline is now our closing manager. You can reach the office at 314-843-2114 or my email at [email protected].
