Preschool 3s

Spring is almost here and Preschool is excited for the warm weather! This month we will be talking about the letters T and U. We will also have a week of reviewing letters before we go on Spring Break. We will also do lots of activities for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter.

Literacy

The children will be introduced to the letters T and U. We will read “Bear’s Loose Tooth” and “Up, Up, Down.” We will be reviewing all the letters from A to U the week before Spring Break. We will also work with position words with a game called “Where’s the Leprechaun?”

Math

This month we will be putting the numbers 1 to 10 in order with shamrocks, gold coin number match, and going on a number hunt. We will also be do an Easter egg math match and graphing jelly beans.

Physical

During March we will be doing Tooty-Ta, going on a green scavenger hunt, and doing The Bunny Pokey for Gross Motor. For Fine Motor we will trace triangles, and cut Easter eggs.

Science

The children will be exploring in a St. Patrick’s Day sensory bin, doing a shadow match, and making scented shamrocks. For our STEAM activities we will be mixing yellow and blue on a shamrock to see what color we make and stacking Easter egg halves.

Reminders

• Lending Library is on Thursdays. Please make sure your child is bringing their book back every Thursday so they are able to pick out a new book.
• Spring Break week of March 19th. We will resume Preschool on March 26th.
