Preschool 3s

The end of the Preschool year is here and Preschool 3s are ready for summer! We will be finishing Preschool with reviewing all of the letters, doing special activities for our moms and making a keepsake of all our preschool friends from this year.

Literacy

The children will be reviewing all the letters and letter sounds with our Alphabet Soup Cans and matching uppercase and lowercase letters of our names. We will also start to recognize last names to prepare for next year. We will also be reading books about our Moms.

Math

We will be matching numbered flowers, reviewing our number to 10 with our Vegetable/Fruit Counting Cans, and making patterns. We will also be sorting flowers by color.

Physical

During May, we will be doing Alphabet Actions and participating in the Trike-A-Thon for Gross Motor. For Fine Motor, the children will be “planting flowers” and drawing with sidewalk chalk.

Science

The children will be planting seeds and talking about what will help seeds grow into flowers. We will also be making flowers with playdough and blowing bubbles.

Reminders

• All Lending Library Books are due on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
• The Trike-a-Thon is on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Please make sure your child brings their helmet if they have one.
• On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, we will have our Last Day of Preschool Ice Cream/Pajama/Movie Party!
• Our Preschool Closing Ceremony is on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Please have your child here by 6:40 p.m.
