Daycare Days

Dear Parents,

May flowers also means preschool graduation, which is a bittersweet moment for many of us here at St. Philip’s ECC. For some children, it’s graduation and others move on to their final year of preschool. It reminds us how quickly time flies by. Thank all of you for the trust you’ve instilled in us every day, to not only care for your children, but provide them with their early education.

Our spring fundraiser was successful for only (7) participants. Those seven families sold $960 worth of cards, earning us $416 for the Monkey’s library furniture. Huge thanks and congratulations to Ella and Leo T., Olivia M., and Evalyn and Violet B. Our top sellers will receive tuition credits.

As preschool wraps up and summer camp begins, enrollment typically changes over the summer, along with staff. Ms. Tanner and Ms. Brittany joined our program in late April and we have a few new faces coming in May as well. Ms. Julie will be returning FT to the preschool program and Ms. Emily has accepted the position of Operations Manager. She currently serves as an assistant director at another center and will begin after Memorial Day. In addition, we’ve hired an assistant lead for the Monkeys as well as a new lead for the Fish.

Important Announcement

May brings warm weather and many students like to wear sandals or flip-flops. However, please remember tennis shoes are preferred due to outdoor play. Also, girls must wear shorts under any skirts or dresses.
