Preschool 4s
March is here already! Where is the time going? We are ready for some fun St. Patrick’s Day projects that are coming up fast! The kids are all so excited that we are getting so close to the end of the alphabet; stop in the room to see all of the alphabet posters we have made so far! Don’t forget, this month also brings us Spring Break, March 19th through March 23rd. Hopefully, everyone gets to have some fun in the sun over break!
Literacy
This month we will be working with the letters T, and U. We will also be doing a letter review week where we will practice all the letters we have learned up to this point! We will also be reading lots of St. Patrick’s Day books and books that talk about ALL of the letters this month!
Math
This month, we are working on practicing matching written numbers with their other forms such as tally marks, a ten-frame, and objects. We will also be practicing using dice to make numbers with new Roll-and – Write dry erase games.
Fine Motor
During March, we will be matching our Fine Motor Skills to our themes! We will be using tangram shapes for T week, sorting rainbow fruit loops for St. Patrick’s Day, and doing USA and Underwater Puzzles for U week.
Art
This month we will be able to make lots of fun projects to go with our letters as well as St. Patrick’s Day! We will be making a tie for T, a unicorn for U, and lots of fun shamrock and rainbow crafts for St. Patrick’s Day.
