What are We Learning
Literacy
We will learn about the letters L, M, and N with Zoophonics. We will meet Lizzy the Lizard, Missy the Mouse, and Nigel the Nightowl. We will continue to review all the letters we have learned this year as well.
Math
The children will count lima beans and ladybugs, sort and graph M&M’s, and mermaid counting.
Physical
For For fine motor, the children will use tweezers to find lizards and lace noodles to make a necklace. For gross motor, we will walk on lines and do One Minute Movements.
Science
One of our weeks this month, the children will be introduced to our five senses. The children will use scent bottles to smell different scents, taste lemons and graph if they like them, and feel different textures on a texture board.
Social
We will do a lava experiment and walk a number line. We will also read “Is Your Mama A Llama?” and “Mouse Paint.”

Reminders
Please remember folders need to be brought to school EVERY Tuesday. We will put your child’s work from the week in it and send it back home on Thursday.
We will be going to the Lending Library to check out books starting the first Thursday in January. Books will need to be brought back the following Thursday.
