A Note from Mrs. Julie
It is bittersweet that the school year is coming to an end. I will miss seeing all of them grow and learn new things, but I am so excited about their next step in life!

What are We Learning
Literacy
We will review the alphabet with letter recognition and letter sounds. We will read “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed the ABCs,” “I Love You Mom,” and “Planting A Rainbow.”
Math
The children will measure and count flowers and make a flower number line to the number 20. We will also measure dinosaur tracks.
Physical
For fine motor, the children will write letters, practice cutting, and lace beads. For gross motor, we will exercise through the alphabet, play Musical Alphabet, and Dinosaur Walk.
Science
We will have a Dinosaur Day this month! We will paint a dinosaur silhouette, explore with dinosaur fizzy eggs, and capture dinosaur letters. We will also make a class book about having a pet dinosaur.
Social/Emotional
The children will play Letter Kaboom and fix a mixed-up alphabet. We will also sing “M-O-M-M-Y” and “If You Love Your Mom and You Know It.” We will also dance to “Boom Chicka Boom – Mother’s Day.”
