What are We Learning

Literacy: We will learn about the letters Q, R, and S, with Zoophonics. We will meet Queeny the Quail, Robbie the Rabbit, and Sammy the Snake. We will continue to review all the letters we have learned this year as well. 

Math: The children will start the month making heart patterns and graphing conversation hearts. We will also count snakes and coins, and complete 10 frames with rainbows.

Physical: For Fine Motor we will lace hearts, stack hearts, make tigers with playdough, and write in sand. For Gross Motor the children will practice flossing with out bodies, play musical hearts, and jump on a rainbow.

Science: The children will sort hearts on the light table, look at quartz with magnify glasses, and write names in rainbow rice. We will also explore with snakes in a sensory bin.

Social/Emotional: The children will talk about healthy dental tips, exchange valentines, hop on a rabbit number line, and guess if items will sink or float.

*Please remember folders need to be brought to school EVERY Tuesday and Thursday.
